Sometimes dirt and debree can get stuck in there, try saturating it with a strong penetrating oil like PB Blaster, available at your local auto parts store, and let it soak in for about an hour and use a pair of pliers to get a good grip.

Try and online search for the bad. A good seamstress can also put a new zipper in that bag.

Where do I attach the bag for the vacuum?

When the machine is converted to vacuum mode, the collection bag will go on the machine where the blower tube (long part) is connected for blowing mode.

Can I run this without the bag attachments if I am only blowing the leafs to a pile?

You can use it for blowing without the bag. You should have the bag in place for vacuuming and have the zipper closed.

Where can I obtain a replacement vacuum bag (in Calgary). The zipper on mine has broken making it unuseable.

Go to http://www.ereplacementparts.com/weed-eater-parts-c-17589.html Enter your model number. Then click one of the thumbnails that comes up until you find the replacement bag. My model number was 2595. I clicked on the thumbnail in the top row on the right and found the bag (part # 15). You can order direct from them and they ship right to you.

We have a leaf blower 51587 and I don't know how to get the blower on instead of the mulcher. Thank you.

Go to the Toro site I listed below. Choose your model and it takes you to a very neat interactive manual. Basically, the blower tube goes where the bag goes. Just about the extent of it. Good Luck.
