Yamaha HTR-6130 Front right and left speakers with no sound

I purchased the Yamaha HTR-6130 about 3 months ago, but now the front right and left speakers have no sound. I checked the wiring, tested the speakers by switching to another termianl and went completely through the instruction manual on setup (including reintialized the receiver to factory settings) without any results. Should I send back under warranty or is there any other settings or testing I might have missed? Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks
DWT

As simple as this sounds, try hitting the speaker a/b button on the front of the unit, next to the headphone jack. I had the same problem, and was about to package the whole thing back up and go back to Best Buy when I hit this button and then the audio test worked.

Our Yamaha 6130 - 5 Channel setting was not playing through our L Front & L Surround Sound Speakers. We realized that when buying our new TV we forgot to connect a simple audio/visual cable between the DVD Player and Receiver. When we plugged the RED audio/visual cable to the Coaxial input on the DVD Player & Receiver, it worked!

Receiver displays Dolby Digital while watching TV, but only 2 front speakers work. This is the case on only certain TV stations. I have a Yamaha HTR-6130

Depending upon transmmission bit rate, if the transmission is > then 6130 bit rate it will automatically change to 'STRAIGHT' mode and in this mode only two front speaker will work.
