I have toshiba equium a100-338 and the power button will not work

The cable (Wire) stays attached to the Power Button Board,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2270-POWER-SWITCH-BUTTON-TOSHIBA-EQUIUM-A100-/221111621689?pt=UK_Computing_Other_Computing_Networking&hash=item337b479839

No, I'm wrong? The Flat Flex Cable (FFC) does come out of a ZIF connector on the Power Button Board?
You may wind up buying the Power Button Board, and Flat Flex Cable, then.

Or you may find a 'Mom and Pop' computer store, that can repair the cable.

Where can i get drivers for toshiba equium A100-147 model no:Psaabe-00800EAV

Select your Toshiba model and details here and you'll get the drivers after you click search.
If the drivers don't work for any reason, here's an easy way out:
Use this driver scanning tool, which scans your computer for the needed drivers. It has an option to automatically retrieve them for you.

You can download this free tool from here, or directly from this link.

After you have downloaded the above file, double-click on it and follow the simple steps to install it. Then, when it asks if you want to run it, just answer yes. This is easier than manually searching, downloading and installing the drivers.

Hope that helps,
Regards,
Raspal

Hi I HAVE A TOSHIBA EQUIUM A100 027 MODEL RECENTLY HAVE TO RESTORE IT TO FACTORY SETTINGS AFTER ERROR LOADING WINDOWS. everthing went fine but it took about 4 hrs to load vista from restore disks laptop...

I think the BIOS might be fried on the motherboard and thats causing the no video then. It would need to be replaced. Let me know the exact model and I can verify for you if the correct BIOS was installed so at least you can know for sure about that.
