You shouldn't need anything plugged into the accessory jacks to get local sound from your set. Go through the main setup menu and check audio settings; they may be set to turn off the internal speakers to send the sound to a home theatre that you apparently don't have. Most sets have that as a selection and supply L-R audio for an external system and mute the internal speakers.
FYI: The three connectors you mention are coded as follows:
Red - right channel audio White - left channel audio Yellow - composite video (contains synchronization signals and video)
These may be input connectors (for external VCR/DVD decks) so check your owner's guide to verify.

The antenna port is broke off on my lg flat screen tv how do i fix it

It's possible to resolder the port back on but the tv will have to be pulled down to gain access to the tuner and tuner cover will need to be removed to resolder the signal wire where it's broken off the tuner board. In some cases the tuner needs to be desoldered and removed to get access to the tuner board. If your soldering skills are not great an alternative solution would be to use an external set top box. This can be a pest because you then need a second remote to change channels.

Our LG 55 inch flat screen has sound but no picture.TV is only about 3 years old and this is the first time this has happened.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

LG 55LM4600-UC LED TV I have was squirted with a squirt gun. Would replacing the t-con board fix this tv? Please read further details.

when water shorts out something it overloads a lot of other components so the best advice is to take it in for a proper diagnosis.
you just replace a board but another board is damaged it might just blow the board you replaced and that would prove nothing

LG LED TV has sound but no picture. Went out all of a sudden. Image shows with flashlight. Flashes for split second on power up and power down.

Your screens back light has most likely failed and or the voltage controller for the back light, both should be replaced.

My lg plasma tv is cutting off the edges of the shows we are watching. I cant find a setting that will take care of it. Can you help

hmm normally these settings are found in the picture settings of the set top box or just a setting in the tv's picture settings now there might be an option to say fill screen that may work best for some or leave the tv in 16:9 some broadcasts may only be in 4:3 at times this is normal broadcasting and not much can be done unless the setting on the picture option is set to fill screen

I have sound but no picture on my tv

This is a popular question. Most of the time you either need to make sure all connections are not loose or just need to turn off your tv and receiver and unplug. Wait for 1 minute then reboot.
I recommend this short video as it walks you through some diagnostics for other possible problems.
