You may have to go to Canon's website and download the Mac package for it. Some, but not all, installation disks contain software for PCs and Macs but either yours does not or the disk has become unreadable - a problem I have found many times.

Loaded XPlane 10 on new iMac and rudder pedals no longer function?

My iMac has a CD/DVD drive, but I posted a X-Plane 10 pendrive to avoid inserting DVD #1 every session. It functions perfectly. Another point is to connect all peripherals (stick and pedals etc.) BEFORE launching X-Plane 10. Then calibrate your peripherals within XP 10.
I have no pedals set, but instead a pitch-stick with grip throttle and a Logitech joystick with twist grip to fly helicopters.

Can not insert disk into imac

Assuming of course the iMac is otherwise running and functioning normally, this would indicate that the drive has gone bad. Usually, when you first turn on the computer, you'll hear the drive make a sound. If this is not happening, either there is a disk stuck in it or the drive is defunct. visit this page for some tips on ejecting a stuck disk. If that does not work, you will need to replace the drive.

Your windows have become corrupt, you need to install new windows..
Just insert the recovery CD/DVD of your Imac and recover your imac.

Getting a new flat panel lcd screen to work on my

It should work right out of the box, although with imac's you may need to install the software that came with the monitor first. Try Safe mode if it won't show up any other way, safe mode skips the drivers for the most part, it may allow you to see the installation disk, install the drivers and whicever app's u need from the disk. Also make sure you have the correct connector on both ends and the cable that came with the new moniitor, "not the old one", that may be it right there. The pins are different on different systems. Let me know what happened, if your old monitor works, it's a setting, try running multi monitors thru video properties menu so you can se what's the heck is goin on with the installation disk, good luck

Blueberry iMac with slot-loading CD rom drive will

It would be very difficult to open up the imac to retrieve the disc as the CD drive is totally enclosed and would probably result in it not be functional after removing the disk. Have a look at the following article on the apple website
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3007?viewlocale=en_US as it does indicate that the slot loading imac does have a hole for paperclip ejection. You could also try opening up disk utility and and clicking on the icon of your disk under the left hand column then go up to eject button and click eject. Hope this helps.

IMac keyboard volume control keys

Do the volume keys still work when you are booted in to OS X?
Also, try reinstalling the Bootcamp drivers that will appear when you insert an OS X disk when it's booted in to Windows.
