Question about Frigidaire GLWS1339CS Top Load Washer
My washer leaks when it starts agitating. I have watched it, and you can see a puddle of water forming from under the left side of the washer just after the agitation starts.
You will have to remove the agitator. Remove the softener dispenser from the top of the agitator and when you look down the agitator, you will see a 10mm stainless steel bolt. You will need to remove this bolt to remove the agitator. If there is no bolt, try pulling the agitator up and out.

Your problem is the agitator coupling is stripped. Very common on your washer. Just pull up from the base of the agitator to release it. Lip your fingers under the bottom and work it from side to side while pulling up. The coupling is the brown plastic piece attached to the transmission shaft. Remove the bolt and oring. If that bolt is rusty or oring damaged get a new one with the new coupling. Sometimes the coupler is real stuck on the shaft. Becareful not to damage the transmission shaft or the threads for the bolt to hold the coupler if you use a gear puller.

SOURCE: clothes stuck under the agitator
The clothes do not go under the plate they spin out of the top and fall over the side, this is because socks and underwear are either overloaded or spun out, this can be solved by reducing the load size and also spinning small clothing items on lower speeds, but the solution above is very helpful for getting the clothes out, but you will need a long pair of needle nose pliars to pull the clother out of the bottom of the tub. This problem presented itself by a "LD" error (long drain) Thanks tzweeb and I hope this helps others
