Design and construction-prams and strollers

Parking device Prams and strollers must have one or more parking devices that limits the movement of the pram or stroller.
The release mechanism of the parking device must be located so that it is not easily accessible to a child when the child is properly restrained in the pram or stroller.
The colour of the part of the parking device used to activate the parking mechanism (actuator) must be red, and surrounding framework and mouldings must be a contrasting colour.

10 Tips for Parents wishing to buy their children shoes

10 Tips for Parents wishing to buy their children shoes: 1: Keep toenails trimmed straight across and not too short.
2: Keep bedclothes loose and non-restricting.
3: If your baby or toddler wears a baby-gro, ensure that it is big enough around the feet to allow full movement of the toes.
4: Buy socks made from natural materials that allow the skin to breathe. Avoid stretch socks.
5: Ensure that socks and tights fit well and check that the toe seams are not causing toes to rub.
6: Don't force your child to walk; they will walk when they are ready. Instead try and enjoy each special stage of development while it lasts!
7: While indoors and in a safe environment encourage your child to walk barefoot, this helps the foot to develop and strengthen.
8: Always choose shoes that are soft and flexible and made from natural materials that allow the skin to 'breathe'. How to Choose Children's Shoes?

When purchasing a first pair for your chaild you should consider the following things: 1.Wait to buy shoes until your child starts to walk.
2.
When it's time for your baby's first pair of shoes, take your well rested, recently fed child to a quality children's shoe store that stock brands such as Stride Rite and Elefanten. The best stores have patient and knowledgeable salespeople who are expert at fitting children's feet.
3.Have the salesperson measure the length and width of both of the child's feet. Many babies have an extra wide foot and may need a special size.
4.
Make sure the shoes aren't too big, which can cause a baby to trip. First shoes should be soft and pliable to let new walkers feel the ground.

I have the 3d pram system have they ever been recalled mine keeps closing even when my child is in it

Hi,

This pram has not been recalled as far as I am aware. If the pram is collapsing when in use, this sounds like the arms either side are not clicked into position properly when this has been opened. If you follow the frame from the handle toward the front wheel, at the bottom just above the wheel, there is a catch that the arms should click into when opened, if this has not been done properly, this may prompt the pram to try to collapse. Either that or there could be a problem with the catches. I would suggest that you have the chassis looked at to ensure that there is no fault with the chassis.

I hope this helps.

Pram hood needs recovering on Royal dolls pram which is about 40 to 50 years old

Goodevening

I dont no if you have thought about this but you can go on to ebay and find antique material just go to material in the search engine of ebay or go onto google in england it is www.google.com.uk and you will find heaps of very old material or even go to material in uk if you can find the make and model of the pram just type that into google and see what you come up with you might even find the company that will give you the pattern of the hood or someone selling a pram just like yours with the hood all intacked or you might find just the hood. If you dont but you find the material your looking for ! just start to undo it write down everything you are doing cover your hood and you will be able to put it all back together. with easy instuctions YOUR OWN But make sure you cut out your pattern for your hood or take the whole pram to an upolster who will be able to do it for you they might even have some old scrap material there somewhere that you like
Hope that helps

Replacement footrest

What brand is it? Look up that company online or contact them by phone. Most companies should have replacement parts available if the stroller isn't too old. Good luck!
