Question about Washing Machines
The machine stopped mid cycle and began beeping with the "End" light flashing. This is all it will now do!
Any idea what could be wrong please. :o)
Colin My FX1365W has started beeping mid cycle. I thought it was just not spinning but the fabric softner isn't going through. Can it be fixed or do I have to starting looking for a new machine?
I have the same trouble with my washing machine did you find a solution i have been told the PCB or motor drive system

take your soap draw out pull the fabric softener tub out wash leave all of your soap draw in a bucket of hot water scrub with a brush this should clean a small hole which lets your conditioner out simply fix common fault m8

SOURCE: Fabric Sofner won't dispense
hi there remove the soap drawer then remove the cover over the softener compartment you will more than likely find a blockage in the cover siphon or the down tube on the drawer

Same deal - I have to soak up all the residual water in the softener dispenser between washes. (The detergent and bleach compartments are fine).

SOURCE: fabric softner does not empty
I had a similar problem and removed the complete dispenser drawer and washed it in with hot water. The small inner cups for the fabric softener and bleach should be removed and the hot water directed into the small "stand pipes" on the back side of the covers. It appears the fluids in the cups are siphoned out and if the pipes are clogged at the bottom there will be no flow. Also is the plate is not fully seated, the siphon effect is will not work.
Also, my wife said she does not use the cheaper brands of fabric softener anymore because we think that might have caused some of the clogging.
As a side note, if you remove the top of the washer, there is an adjustable dial where you can fine tune the amount of liquid dispenced. You can try adjusting that too. I think my final fix was to clean the back side of the face plates inside the dispenser and ensure they are fully seated to allow the proper siphon effect.
