Hello friend, thank you for your post!
From my understanding your used the self-clean feature on your Electrolux oven and now it is not heating. This could be an issue with your control panel or thermostat. You may need to perform a reset on your range and you can do that by disconnecting power from it for at least ten minutes. If that does not help to alleviate your current issue with the range I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional technician for repairs. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt
You mention shutting off the power. Did you use you circuit breaker to turn off the oven. If not, you should try shutting off power using the circuit breaker. Turn off breaker, wait at least a few minutes, then turn breaker back on. This may reset the oven
I am looking for a manual to a Kenmore Self-cleaning Convection Oven. I bought it used it has selection for conv bake, conv roast, bake or broil. According to the website, my model number doesn't exist -- really? Everything works perfectly - I just want to understand the difference between "bake" - "Conv bake" and "Conv Roast"
Hello Lisa Linner - I understanding that you are seeking information on how to use the self cleaning feature. I have located the Owner's Guide on the manufacturer website. You may find step by step instructions on pages 13-15. Hope you find all the information that you need.
A convection oven really is little different on the chefs part with the exception of modifying your cooking times, and pressing the convection setting button (if there is one).
The only difference between a convection oven and a standard oven is there is a built in fan in the rear that circulates the air within the oven to prevent hot spots and "cooler" areas.
I believe that should clarify unless there is some specific aspect of your range that you do not understand.
Just turn on the oven like normal, it will do the rest.
Convection ovens are great for roasting!
I cooked a 15 lb stuffed turkey in 2 hours in mine. And it was juicy and fab!
My auto degree set for convection is 325.
I have a Jenn Air wall oven, so I don't know, it might be different for different brand.
Roast or bird should be in the middle of the oven. THe air has to circulate well to get best results.
I believe rule of thumb is a convection oven takes 1/2 LESS time than conventional.
Hope this helps.
My frigidaire model is CPLEF398CCB conventional electric flat top oven. Everything is working fine except my oven. When I select pre-heat, broil or bake nothing lid up. No heat on the coil, only fan.Any suggestions?
