Cect p168, glass above LCD cracked

The glass covering my lcd is cracked but the LCD itself is fine and still responsive. As a result i just want to remove the glass cover from my LCD and replace it with a new one. However it looks like there glued. Is there anyway of seperating them or will i just need a new screen. Thank you.

You need to replace the whole screen, the glass is part of the whole lcd screen.

The screen looks cracked and multi colored but the actual glass isnt broken or cracked

Your LCD/monitor is cracked from the inside. There are several things that can cause a screen to crack from the inside. The two most common are pressure on the screen or dropping the machine. Sorry, but it is irreparable. You need to buy a replacement.

I have a cect i9+ mobile phone and when I switch it on and try to slide to unlock it, nothing happen. Even when I receive a call and try to accept it nothing happens. Any solution pls

The 2 plastic layers beneath the glass and silicone infused screen have come in contact, resulting in the phone's processor inability to receive commands by touch. You'll have to purchase a new screen or send your phone in for a replacement.

LCD screen

Probably not as a cracked display usually results from dropping or sitting something heavy on the unit.

If it just cracked under normal use, then this would be a defect and it should be covered under your warranty. The only sure way to know is to take it in and try your best to convince them that this is covered under your warranty.

FYI, the warranty is probably from the manufacturer, unless you got some extended warranty through Best Buy? Otherwise the stores responsibility varies from state to state.

Cracked While Cleaning

I did that to a Toshiba laptop long ago, happens to the best of us. I think they?re referring to the LCD panel itself not a piece of glass you can replace. Usually the outer layer you can touch is a plastic/vinyl layer that covers the outer glass layer. Behind that is another sheet of glass and sandwiched in-between is the liquid crystal material. All of this is bound together as one unit and not repairable.
