Question about LG WM2688HWM TROMM SteamWasher
All lights come on...can hear chimes...can select type of load... can change hot/cold settings etc. but when push the start button - nothing. Get no errors of any kind. Have unplugged it for 15 min. and plugged back in...no change. Have unplugged overnight and plugged back in...no change. Washer is a little over 1 year old and has worked perfectly up until two days ago. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

SOURCE: LG TROMM WM 2077CW LE Error
An LE error is a locked rotor. The hall sensor on the stator part of the motor is not sensing the rotor part of the motor is turning. So the short version is you need a new stator(which has the sensor on it or just the sensor) replaced which should have a 5 year warranty on it so call LG for your nearest authorized service center

SOURCE: Spots on clothes after washing
Put another filter on before the washer. Try to find out if it is in the hot water or the cold. If it is the cold try a filter. If it is the hot, replace your hot water tank.

Hi, I don't know how to fix your problem, Lia, unfortunately, BUT wanted to say "Thank You!!" for mentioning that you can get the washer to run through the cycle by rotating the drum and switching to cold water wash! We'd tried unplugging, leaving it unplugged overnight even, but the code/beeping started immediately after plugging back in. I'm kind of longing for an old-school washer right now, thinking of all the things that can go wrong with the newer digital-age computerized ones :-) If you see this, please share what you did to solve your washer problem! Hoping it's not too expensive to fix...or I should say to GET it fixed :-\
