The splash screen that comes after the POST is not always a BIOS issue. If your BIOS splash screen is corrupted, then it certainly is possible that your bios is also corrupted. Flashing the BIOS should resolve either of those problems. There are a couple of other places where a splash screen could occur, after the BIOS or the Windows splash screen itself. To be able to determine what the problems is more information on which screen is corrupted is required.

Bios problem i m getting in error windows loading

Typically to enter setup you only need to tap either F2 or the Delete key as soon as you turn the computer on. The splash screen will usually tell you which is the correct key. It may be called 'setup', 'BIOS' or 'BIOS Setup'. Hope this helps,

How to updates the bios setup

Hi There, if you want to change the bios settings, boot up the computer, right after you hit the button, hit F2 during the splash screen. You will have access to the bios settings and be able to change the settings. Just be careful when using because one wrong move can cause serious problems.

Try Hirens Boot CD. It has a lot of programs on it to detect format etc.
I think your hard drive has a missing or corrupt MBR and it needs to be replaced.
When I have had a hard dive not recognized I hve used Super Fdisk to format and reset hard drive.

Asus m2n-e sli locks up at bios post splash screen

Sounds like a bios issue. Try resetting the bios, pg. 2-19 in user manual. After clearing the bios jumper, make sure you set it back to pins 1 & 2. If you still can not get into the bios main menu than head to Asus, click this link.
Since this is a new board & all Asus boards are warranted for three years I suggest you talk with an Asus tech. If you flash you're bios during the warranty period you may void the warranty. You can call Asus M-F, EST 8:00AM-5: PM.
1-812-282-2787. Not sure you have this number in you're manual. Chances are Asus will send you a new bios. Or you can buy a new bios for $5.00 not including S/H. From Asus online store. Click on this link.

If I can be of more service, just post back & let me know how thing go.

Freezes @ Mobo Splash Screen

you have i would say a corrupt bios, if it can't even select the splash screen, i'm assuming that you have tried to reset the cmos by means of the relevant jumpers, either JBAT1, CLRCMOS or CLRCLK or similair. If so and still nothing, when you built the system you may have stressed the board fitting the heatsink and fan or the memory causing the mobo bios chip to fault or it is simply a manufacturer fault and therefore up for exchange of faulty goods.
