I don't want to use them for ringtones, just for music player...i think i may have figured out another way...going to download them into windows media player and try syncing them to the card. I thought I could do this with itunes, but i couldn't find the option to sync the songs...

I will try what you suggested too though...Thanks for the info....Kat

I have the lg vu as well and the music player with the green note the one for the phone wont pick up songs i sync and i almost every way possible even checked to make sure filenames are good.. the only place i can get music to play and continuous play, not just as a file though the folders and not having a shuffle or repeat option and continueing to play songs.. i dont like it like that always having to go in once song is finished to play another one.. I found the rogers player the phone has picks them up and displays the album art but i also dont like usig that one i like the one for the phone which also has the album art but you can do other things on your phone this way and its alot better in the end... Any help would be appreciated i even went and bought a new usb to sync in music mode then it shows use on my microsd but no files appear anywhere.. Is there a way to transfer them from the rogers music player to the actual lg vu player..

All audio shows up under ringtunes, unfortunately. Don't get your hopes up, though; just because it's on the ringtunes list doesn't mean you can use it for one. Ringtunes must be a certain size and filetype for them to work.
It's unusual for music not to show up in the music folder. Make sure you're using the music player in the phone, and not the proprietary network one.
I've never had my music show up in one place and not the other. Usually, it's two.
There's actually a shortcut to getting to the phone's music player. Beside the battery logo, there's a small box with a picture of two windows diagonal to eachother. Touch this. It'll bring up a small list; the first two are internet and Music Player. Hit music player. Done.
