Question about Lexmark Office Equipment & Supplies

Had avirus,information to operate my series all-in-one 7100 was lost need a back up copy send to boot up the thing not wise with computers,have troulbe understanding instruction better off with new disc,still have instrustion on how to do this.Can you help.Thank you

Because your Company send me blanks without my address or phone number.This I consider fault by your company,so,I believe to be cheated once is my responsablity and due to my extending trust out of faith that I was dealing with honest people,in this case I was wrong,so,I'll suffer the lose of a few dollars now.Saving a greater lose later,as dealing with the dishonest always cost more.To avoid this outcome I'll not do business with any one who fail to deal in an honorable manner,as I believe your company did with me.I pray that this will help you refect on this and change.I've had little good results with mailorder companys and I vow not to do mail order again.Francis J.Smidt 19615 S.W.Flamingo Dr. Dunnellon Fl.34431 352-489-1991 I wish you no ill.

To start what operating system are you running? Dell's website has manyy troubleshooting and restore proceedures but you need to know your operating system(XP,Vista, or Windows7). Laptops with newer versions such as vista or windows7 automatcily back up your data to a second partition in the hard drive. There should be a complete copy of your original configuration from the factory which is used to reinstall the operating system and then alowwing restore of data from the same secondary partition so you will not lose you data. I can help you with this but I need whioch operating system your runing. In case your wondering Dell and other maufatcurers stopping sending operating systems discs with the ;laptops when you buy then, instead as mentioned before they install the oprating system on a seperate partition in your hard drive. they did this to stop the bootleggin of the operating discs. You can also contact Dell and give them the information from the servie tag on the bottom of your computer. The service tag # is like a serial number and contains the configuration of the laptop. You can purchase a copy of this disc from Dell for no cost if laptop is under warranty or for a small charge of about $30 if out of warranty, but if reinstaling from the disc all old data will be lost unless you can copy it before reinstallin the operating system.

I have a toshiba protege 7100 series and it won't boot past the windows screen


Try hitting F8 during startup and choose last known good configuration.
Or you could try starting in safe mode and doing a system restore.
Have you made any changes to the system prior to this problem, as sometimes installing programs/drivers can cause similar issues. If so you will need to remove or configure the program causing the conflict. You can do this in safe mode.

Want to download the 7100 series to my computer


Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark 7100 Series printer driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on FILTER > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen.

Lost software for hp psc 700 series and need to download on new c


First do not connect the printer to the computer yet.

Click here to select the 700 series you actually have and OS software your using.

After selecting the Hp PSC 700 series you have, and next select the OS you are using on the computer. Next you will see a selection for HP PSC basic driver download in which you need to select too. Next you will select Install Now, or Download Only either choice will work, and simply follow instructions to the download and afterward the computer will shut down and boot back up. After the computer boots back up wait a few minutes and now you can connect the usb plug to the computer and printer. It would be a good idea to go back to the same HP site and select and install the software update and utility downloads too if you didn't use the Install Now option.

No operating system


This sounds like a common case. Usually if computers are not shut down properly then data is lost. You might need to do a fresh reinstall of operating system (windows). Before you do this, try to find a way to back up important files. Try connecting the hard drive to another pc and make a copy of needed files. Then install a fresh copy of windows. You can obtain a copy of installation these ways:
It comes with some computers.
Your computer might have a recovery section on the hard drive.
You can purchase a copy from a store "walmart"
You can purchase a copy from microsoft
Or if your smart you can get it online for free.

Try holding the FN key and push the F7 key.
If that don't work,Try the FN and F5

Lost disk for 7100 series all in one


Hi familyguy808, It sounds like you are missing the driver software for the printer. If you CLICK HERE it will take you to the dowload page for the Lexmark 7100 Series Driver. If your download does not start automaticlly, you may have to download it from one of the External Download Mirrors listed at the middle of the page on the left side. When your download completes, you will be prompted to open the file you just downloaded. Go ahead and do this. It will bring up the driver installer which will walk you through the rest of the setup using On-Screen instructions.

The folder options in my computer was lost


there is a avirus called brontok in your computer just try to remove the virus with norton or avg

if still the problem is not solved i am afraid my friend but you might have to format the hard disk
