My dell latitude d610 ac power is work is properly but battrey is not charging plz tell me soulition.

If the D610 works when attached to the AC Power Cord, it is likely that your battery is not capable of taking a charge and needs to be replaced. I have 2 D610 Dell Latitudes and they are very good laptops.
Please vote if my information is helpful or not. Recommend me. Thanks UAW 974

Dell Latitude D610 dvd player won't work

Try a CD ROM lens cleaner. If it fails then I suggest you buy a new one. It is easy to change it: there is a release switch at the bottom with a screw. Open it and remove the old one. Slide the new one into its place.

Dead set

Try taking out battery and plug in power. If it works, battery is faulty.
If not, try taking out your hard disk plug in power, if it works, hard disk is faulty.Try taking out memory card, if there's a sound, memory card faulty. If no sound, it's your motherboard that is causing the error.

Note: If machine is under warranty no need to pay for the repairs.

Motherboard resistors RV2 and RV3

RV1, RV2, and RV3 are capacitors. They're actually dark green in color because they're made primarily for automotive applications. If you remove one and measure it with a capacitance meter you can find the value. On a 600M/D600 I believe they're 150pF, but on other boards they may be 100pF. Digikey part numbers for them are 490-4962-1-ND for the 100pF, or 490-4767-1-ND for the 150pF. Good luck!

Battery not charging. Power Adapter ok

DC jack issue usually.

Or a bad repair- many techs not skilled enough will wind up losing RV1,RV2 or RV3 MOV. this is so small that I had documented it on my site. The chip has no values printed on them, and are hard to find "Close-Up"

But fear not, most of the times it is simply a DC jack replacement. They are about $8 on ebay. And only a skilled tech should replace it.

How they fail?
It is a circular tri-axial ring inside, the leaf type contacts become fatigued and no longer pick up power. Or the center contacts become fatigued.

OR the jack left the factory with insufficient solder and repeated use caused it to crack.
