I have a kodak easyshare c182 and i have windows professional 2000. it keeps saying it cant support this version, how do i get my pics on my computer?

Ignore Easyshare software. Download Picasa and Import, sort, email, upload to an online web page etc. your photos using this excellent program.
Another way is to simply click Start/My Computer and your camera card should appear there as D: or E: click that and other folders within, until you see your photos. Copy the enclosing folder and paste it where you wish. Try to upgrade to XP it is one of the best.

Adobe photo deluxe 2.0 operated fine on XP system. On win7???

The Problem.... is that Windows 7 will not automatically share files with an XP operating systems, even if you are dual booting!.... you need to manually configure your photo software to include that drive in it's library.

It's actually good that Windows acts this way, it's SECURE!.... Windows 7 is by far the most secure version of windows so far... to say the least. believe it or not, you can (Not recommended to the averange end user fyi) run it without any 3rd party PC antivirus software (as long as you are cautious, REALLY know what you are doing, and only visit secure sites, and are updating Windows Defender constantly...)

Good Luck!

I re-installed Windows XP Home Edition and now can't defragment as an MMC error message keeps appearing. What is the problem and how do I overcome it? Christina Weate

MMC error refers to an SD or compact card you either have inserted ito the PC card reader or an attached card reader. If you have recently reinstalled it may also be that you have not installed the drivers for this card reader

How do i upload a pic to ebay from my documents

Here's how you can use the Basic eBay Picture Services from the simplified selling form:
  1. Under Step 2, click "Add a Photo."
  2. From the popup window, click "Browse."
  3. Navigate to the folder where you stored the pictures (in your computer).
  4. Click the image you'd like to upload, then click "Open."
  5. Once you see the directory path for the image, click "Upload."

The "Add a photo" window will indicate the upload process.

  6. Click the "Add a photo" buttons to add even more pictures. (Click "Remove photo" to remove uploaded photos.)

I cannot launch photo explosion 3.0 on my Win xp

I found that to be the problem, To many pictures in your folder. My photo explosion deluxe 3 opens up to C/pictures. the program fails, times out, because it takes to long to load all those pictures, I moved my pictures from C/pictures to C/photos folder. You may be able to use any other folder. It worked like magic. Opened fast with no delay. I had installed and uninstalled 25 times or more with no luck. also deleted and folder( u lead ) from the c/ windows/ ulead, while I was uninstalling things.
I had help here. was asking Jesus to help me figure this out 2 months or more , Finally the answer just popped in my head , I,m not smart about pc. So i know he helped me. So I share with you Jesus and the answer to this problem that drove me crazzzzy!!!
Linda
If this helps you, thank the Lord Jesus.

Defragment does not work

You need to re-register the defragmenters snap-in files, and the basic registry entries.
  • First open up a Command Prompt, this can be found at:
Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt

  • Change into your windows\system32 directory. Your windows directory will be either windows or winnt. Type:
    cd \windows\system32

  • Register the defrag components, by typing:
    regsvr32 dfrgsnap.dll
    regsvr32 dfrgui.dll

    registerdefrag.gif

  • At this stage, you may find the defragmenter works. If not, there is one more step you can do.

Using Windows Explorer browse to your windows\inf folder.
In there you will find a file called dfrg.inf right click this file, and select Install.
  • If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
    Thanks, Joe

Defragment does not work

Hi,

This problem can be tacked in a few ways. But I cannot guarantee that it can solve the problem. So please do try out all the alternatives shown below one at a time.

  • Go to Start and then Run, type regsvr32 msxml3.dll and run it, or
  • Start --> Run, regsvr32 dfrgsnap.dll and start - Run, regsvr32 dfrgui.dll and then click on OK, or
  • Go to Start - Run and then type sfc /scannow. (If it asks for the installation CD, insert it) or
  • Install the latest MMC 3.0 (Available at Microsoft site) or
  • Browse to C:\Windows\Inf (Assuming C drive is your OS drive), right click dfrg.inf file and click on Install.
If the above does not solve your problem still, then try renaming the dfrg.msc file to something else and place the shortcut in your start menu.

If everything fails, it can only be a registry or a .MSC association problem...
