Only used my Creative Zen / Zen V Plus a handful of times and the 5 way naviagion joystick split and broke. Can I get this fixed? Is there a part I can buy? It still works but you have to have pretty long fingernails to work it so its a pain.

O.k. I have the same exact Zen V-Plus as you, so I know how to delete them. But it doesn't tell you in the instructions.
Now go to photos. Use the joystick to choose which picture you want to delete, then press down on the backspace button. You'll have a list of options; to start a "slideshow", "delete picture", or "set as wallpaper". Scroll down to "delete picture", click it, It will ask you if you are sure about deleting it, press yes, and wammo! Your picture will be deleted.
I found a source for the sw421 joystick the only problem is i had to order 5 to meet minimum order. I successfully repaired my navigation joystick. Its a 4 axis with push toggle activated switch in the middle. If anyone would like me to repair their unit I will do 4 for $75.00 u pay shipping. It takes anout 1 1/2 hours from start to finish. So the unitcan be back in the mail to you the same day. email@example.com
If your pioneer AVIC car navigation unit does not register your touches or the wrong button is “pressed”, you need to re-calibrate your screen’s digitizer.
1-Hold the Eject button down until the face of the unit drops all the way 2-Using a pen hold down the reset button (just above the joystick) and the navigation disc eject simultaneously. 3-Release the reset button. 4-Release the dvd eject button next. The display will read “press reset” 5-Push the joystick up two times. 6-Push the joystick down twice. 7-Press the joystick in. 8-The service menu will appear after a short pause. You can navigate the service menu using the joystick. 9-Chose the first menu option and press in on the joystick. 10-Trace the screen with a stylus. 11-"P.ADJ" is the back button 12-Chose the second menu item in order to calibrate the touch screen. Use a stylus again and tap the "+" sign on the screen. (You may have to touch slightly off center if the digitizer is damaged. In which case things will still be off but it will be much better.)
Same. What i did is i switch it on, click the "Back" button a few times to get you to the main menu. And then, click "Up", just once, it should be "Music". Then, use the joystick and move it 5 times down. after that, click your joystick and press "Play" it should be "All Tracks"
