Sapphire HD 7950 3G OC GDDR5. Update 13.4_w8 released Jul 9 2013 Display driver version Driver 12.104. source:...

Hello there!
There's not much need to worry if the device manager detects your card.
Yet,the catalyst installers are not too properly implemented.I recommend you to install stuff manually. In order to do this, ill divide the solution into a few parts:
Here we go!

1: Display drivers
Go to device manager > Display adapter > Right click card > Update driver > Browse manually > Have disk > Locate to your AMD/ATI folder where the catalyst installer is > Packages > Drivers > Display driver > Choose the first .inf > There you go,select your card, install it.

2: Applicants
Head to your AMD/ATI folder where you have the catalyst installer
Packages > Apps > Install all of these apps,it would be useful.

This would allow you to manually install the package, resulting in a non-error through the catalyst.
This error might be occuring because some of your apps/packages might be corrupted, the best solution is to install manually and find the culprit.Once done, google that app/package and download it.

I hope this helps you mayte.

Need to uninstall ATI CATALYST Install Manager * I am upgrading windows from vista to windows 7 but need to uninstall ATI CATALYST Install Manager *

Aside from the standard option of "Add / Remove Programs" in the Windows Control Panel, you can use the far superior Revo Uninstaller program. will supply you with a simple one click install of Revo, and uninstall the Catalyst Install Manager would just be a matter of selecting from the list after opening Revo itself.
However, I feel I should tell you that all of that is unnecessary. The real problem is with video drivers. Windows 7, on install, will mark the Catalyst Manager redundant. That's why it wants you to remove it. But you can feel free to leave it there. It will cause no harm to your system during or after upgrade.
One more thing. I would advise NOT doing a straight upgrade from Vista to 7, as the transfer leaves the registry a bit muddled, and seriously kills the speed of your computer. Instead, do a backup of all of your documents, pictures, whatever you want to save, reformat the hard drive and do a fresh install of Windows 7. Your computer will run faster and more efficiently than it ever did on Windows Vista. Simply reinstall any programs you need, transfer your backed up data back in to the system, and you'll be done.
Happy computing.

Well i put in graphic card ATi radeone 9250 agp 128 mb and then i instaled latest drivers for it including catalyst, and when i start game...any crashes and i get error from catalyst center that it...

Uninstall All drivers and software for ati card. Take card out.Put card back in. Reboot pc.Reinstall drivers.I dont think the 128 mb cards Came with a fan.The 256mb did.

All the same, check your pc fans are working and clean. Also disable any onboard motherboard Graphics. You will need to do this in the bios.

Possible card was not seated right in agp slot,or drivers were corrupt.

Unexpectedly and usually while watching video like, HULU, Netflix, or a live Movie maker project the Machine freezes. On screen is a series of dark and light vertical lines with no visual error message,...

There are lot of issues with Windows 7 and software compatability. What I have found , that works, is the uninstall of the ATI/AMD software and then reinstall with latest drivers. Your graphics do have Windows 7 support. What I suggest is uninstall all ATI/AMD software and reinstall from AMD. In programs and features, you will see 2 maybe 3 lin items that are ATI, Catalyst install manager, etc. You want to start with uninstalling the catalyst. Right click on it and when asked, pick the "express" remove all ATI softare option. When this is finished. Restart and go back to programs and features and make sure all ATI is removed. You can then go here:
I entered your info but will outline.
Component Catagory-Desktop graphics
Product line-Radeon HD series
Product model-Radeon HD 3xxx series
Enter o/s Win 7 64 bit
Click "view results"
Your download will come up. I don't know if you've done this before but I believe this is the best place to get your drivres and certainly the best Catalyst Control Center. You will need to restart after install.
Make sure you enter your resolution in the control center.

Dell laptop DVD issue

If you have Vista OS, it could be a problem after installing ATI's Catalyst Software Suite. If you recently installed it, try uninstalling it or rolling it back to an older version.

ATI Radeon HD 3200 conflict with NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT driver

To solve this problem, uninstall the old driver, the ATI Radeon, it will not cause a problem when you uninstall it. After the uninstall, restart the computer and then install the support cd for the NVIDIA Geforce 9500 GT.

Ati2dvag caught in a loop

These kind of problems can be caused by a number of different things, from software to dodgy ram, PSU etc etc. I'll assume you've already done a virus and adware scan-if not, do it now. If that doesn't work, let's start with the easiest to diagnose and fix-the device driver itself. Download the latest version of the Ati catalyst driver from Ati. Uninstall the existing driver(Assuming you're using Windows XP, Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs, then find the Ati graphics driver on the list and remove it), remove the grapics cards entries from Device Manager(Start>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager, then click the cross next to "Display Adaptors", right click and choose "uninstall"), and reboot into safe mode (tap F8 at POST screen). Run drivercleaner in safe mode (you can download it from here): then reboot, cancel the "Found New Hardware Wizard" which pops up when you restart windows, and run the new driver installation program.
