Boombox Wont Work

I was listening to a CD last night, it worked fine, but I went to use it today, and it wouldnt turn on at all. I tried it with batteries, as well as with the power cord in like 7 or 8 different outlets and it wouldnt work period either way. If anyone knows how to fix this let me know. I just got it yesterday,so it cant be from being old and overused.

I have the same problem.
