Question about Canon CanoScan N650U Flatbed Scanner
Is it possible for my old scanner to work with my newer OSX PowerBook G4? It used to work when I had OS 9.
I've installed the driver from the Canon website, I installed the CanonScan Toolbox software v.5.0 When I push button scanner, nothing happens. If I open Toolbox first and choose 'Scan', says it can't find the driver.
Maybe I don't have the driver in the right folder?
I'm running OS X 10.4.11
Canon only has this scanner driver in OS9 and it will run in classic mode if you are using OSX. This $40 software will work with your scanner in OSX, but for $40 you can purchase an OSX native scanner too.
