Question about Dell XPS One All-in-One TV Desktop with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E4500 - (PRODUCT) RED
I have a dell xps one and my screen has thin vertical lines going all through it. I contacted dell and they sent a service tech to replace the motherboard and video card. The problem still persists. The dell tech said it's likely a software problem so I contacted dell support and they told me it was probably not a software problem but rather a hardware problem.
When the computer starts up, the lines do not appear in bios screen. I've already done a video monitor test in bios and everything came out fine. The lines only appear in windows. It even appears when the computer is running in safe mode. Dell is planning to send out another tech for the third time to solve the problem, but they haven't been able to find a solution yet. I thought I would check online to see if anyone had any suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
You need a new LCD screen.
Thats a common problem with those panels
Or can be a hardware defect that occurs when the screen wasn't properly tested at the factroy
