Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if it’s the Keyboard that isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.
If it’s the MOUSE, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect. Then they should work okay. Hope this helps. Bud

Trying to install logitech wireless mouse on Acer laptop with Windows 7 but not seeing the device. Wireless button is on and active on the laptop

Wireless button on laptop has nothing to do with wireless mouse. Plug in your mouse receiver that come with the mouse in to a USB port on your Laptop. Turn on your Mouse and hold the reset or sync button on the bottom of your mouse for a few seconds, so that the receiver can synchronize with your mouse. Mouse should now work OK

Mouse works but keyboard does not.

Ironically, when I replaced my dead HP Pavilion, on which I had the same wireless keyboard and mouse, things worked in the reverse but opposite method. The mouse doesn't work, but the keyboard does.

I suspect it is directly related to the config buttons on the bottom of each part. The buttons were supposed to sync such that the keyboard and mouse worked together perfectly and did, until I had to replace the PC.

My only suggestion is to continue to press those little buttons repeatedly, until they finally do sync all the way around. And most important, ensure that your mouse and keyboard have fresh batteries at all times, as that would make the whole process fail in the most embarrassing way.

Good luck,

Just changed the batteries on my wireless mouse. How long do I push the button on the wireless device to activate the mouse again?

Turn your mouse over & find a little red button. Press the button with the tip of ball point pen. Also try depressing the connect button on the mouse radio piece that plugs into the computer box. (That sits on your desk somewhere)

How do I adjust the clock on my mx5500?

The MX 5000 and diNovo Media Laser utilize the Adjust Time/Date function on your PC's clock to set the keyboard's LCD display. In order for the PC's clock to synchronize with the LCD display, the SetPoint for Bluetooth software is required to be installed and enabled. Once you have installed SetPoint for Bluetooth, the LCD display will automatically sync with the system's clock.
If your LCD is not displaying the date and time and SetPoint for Bluetooth is not installed:
  1. Download the latest version of SetPoint for your device from the Logitech Downloads page.
  2. Install SetPoint on your system. (For additional information regarding installing SetPoint for Bluetooth, please refer to Knowledge Base article 5890 ).

Keyboard not syncing

First, replace the batteries. Wireless keyboards and mice **** batteries and I use to have to change then every week believe it or not.

Once in safe mode, uninstall and reinstall software for wireless components, Run a virus scan and malware scan just to make sure you are virus free!

I have dell Mouse/keyboard combo and the mouse died. Can I just replace that?

In short, Yes!

These things are stamped out by the millions and are not made in sets, when you sync them, they become a set. So you will need to re-sync the new combination, get the same model of mouse but yes, you can replace just the mouse.

Hope this helps,

Mouse won't work after battery change

Are the batteries in correctly are there any indicators lit ?.

If not take out the batteries and try new ones

Once the indicators have come to life switch off your PC and put it on again , it should find the mouse itself

If not go into Control Panel , Add New Hardware and make the PC do a search

At some point it may ask if you have a disk , if you have say yes and put it in the CD drive

It should Auto Install from there
