There is a rippled edge close to the very tip of the drill and there is a key supplied with the drill with the corresponding ripples place key into the hole near tip of drill so ripples meet each other and turn key in an anticlockwise direction to loosen put in new drill bit re tighten in clockwise direction hope this helps if not please ask for more info glenn

I can't loosen the the sleeve that holds the bit and therefore I can't change my bits.

Stick the speed fix to 1, put drill in reverse, and hold on to the chuck as hard as you can, and squeeze the trigger.

How do I change the drill bits and then tighten so the bits stay in the drill?

The chuck will not turn. So to loosen just turn the black plastic counter clockwise. The chuck will loosen. Or you can hold the black part on the chuck tight and put the drill in reverse and slowly squeeze the trigger and the chuck will loosen also. Do the opposite to put a new bit in. Put the drill in forward and hold the black part of the chuck and squeeze the trigger with the bit in place and it will tighten down on the bit.

How do I change a bit

This drill uses a keyless chuck. which means you have to hold onto the barrel by the end of the drill chuck. Then you need to put the drill in reverse to open the chuck to put a bit in. Insert a bit and then put the drill back into forward and hold chuck to tighten.
