Question about Pelonis Heating & Cooling

1 Answer

My Pelonis oil filled heater wouldn't come on. I discovered that it has a bad fuse(SF129E, U9870, Tf 133 degree, 10A, 250V). Can you supply a replacement or recommend a substitute ? Thanks, Keith

Go to the nearest hardware store or to Radio Shack.  Bring the old one with you.  The main things are the physical size of the fuse and the voltage/amperage ratings.  The other numbers are not important.

Pelonis oiled filled heater ho-0218 won't heat up

burnt thermo fuse or element. be sure to connect any wires tightly if you replace thermo fuse. test it with a mulimeter should show less than 1 ohm. no you do not need to add oil, if the unit leaks throw it out.

My pelonis oil heater has a diode? on the blue power wire behind the end cover. i think this is why mine does not work. can you help me find a replacement?

It looks like a diode, but it's actually a thermal fuse. 128 degree Celcius, marked d125 with a blue stripe. I just replaced mine with a 15amp, 128C, d125.

Delonghi Solaris Heater Model No. TRN0812T NOT WORKING

In the past I have nothing but problems with DeLonghi heaters. I replaced them with Pelonis heaters and have had no problems since. Pelonis heaters are availible from Home Depot at a very reasonable price. This is based on my experience only. Hope it helps.
