Question about Rio Carbon MP3 Player
Hi My daughters rio has about 1 gigs worth of music on and has been working fine since last october 05 . now when we try to put music on a message says "file doesnt exist cannot transfer" I have reset player and my computer will put music on to my sons medion mp3 player Ok but not the rio. when we unplug the rio after trying to put music on, it freezes and has to be reset,it has worked fine up to now and still plays the music already on it.I have uninstalled the rio programme disc and re installed it on computer. I have tried to put music files from our library downloaded from limewire and also loaded a CD onto computer and converted to mp3, but still no joy.any suggestions please ? Thanks Mike
When Microsoft initiated the DRM system, any Rio Carbon that was hooked into Windows Media Player had the previously working files invalidated. Happened to me as well. The player lasted me three years, and that is about as long as any Mp3 player is going to last we are finding out b/c of all the software snafus.
