Problem for Adobe Photoshop® CS3 10

Yellow tint in photoshop

I have recently got photoshop CS3 for some image editing fun, but the white has a yellowey cream colour. This only effects images opened or created INSIDE photoshop, when viewed outside of photoshop the images display correctly, which indicates that my monitor is functioning correctly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

- It was set to sRGB IEC61966-2.1 when i opened the menu, so i set it to my monitors colour profile and it fixed it, and just for kicks i changed it back again, now the colours are displaying properly, not entirely sure what was going on, but thats for the assistance :)

Quick version--open photoshop select --edit->color preferences, and make sure that adobe RGB(1998), or sRGB IEC61966-2.1 is selected. If this doesn't help please let me know
