Question about HP Color LaserJet 3500 Printer
I want to take the color toners out of a HP 4500 but don't know how to tell the printer how to index it around. From reading it appears that the printer will do it for you if the toner is low. But what if I just want to pull it out of a bad printer to put into another printer?
If you open the printer up, you can manually turn the cartridge rack forward (away from you if you are in front of the printer) and remove the cartridges. If the printer is still functional, the printer should automatically do this for you when you open and close the lid. Hope this helps
