Blade inserted in bread when done

My bread machine is new. So far till the last 4 times, no problem. Now every time I take the bread out of the machine, the blade is inserted inside, difficult to get it out. Has to cut the bread to take the blade out. Your assistance or suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.

Either spay a non stick spray on the blade/paddle before you began or simplly remove the the blade/paddle after the kneading cycle is completed

When my machine goes into the next to the last rise I have a loaf about 5' but then when it goes into the last rise before it bakes it never rises high again. The finished loaf is about 3 1/2" high....

Not fully understanding this but it sounds like you are opening the lid too much and spoiling the rise. Only open the lid when at the dough stage if necessary.
Bread will not keep warm, it will steam and go wet and soft in the pan. Open the lid when the cycle has finished and remove the loaf.
Try re-setting your machine by holding down the start button till the display goes out.

When the blades are inserted do they have to click into place? Mine just sit loosly on the shafts--but do go completely down to the bottom of the shaft---however, the dough is not mixing or rising or...

Most bread machine paddles fit kind of loose so you can get them off for cleaning. Try turning on your machine like you were going to bake a loaf but don't put any ingredients in. Just watch, you won't hurt anything doing this, you are just trying to see if your paddles are turning or not. If they are turning then your problem is something other than the paddles.

Why did the kneading paddle on my 1148X bread machine quit working. This happened the third time it was used. It did the initial mixing and resting. When it started the kneading process again, the blade...

Hi, If this is the third time using it, it could be defective. Return it for service. If not under warranty, try a few things. 1) Make sure the pan is inserted in the machine correctly. 2) Make sure that the paddle is not sticking, or the sealed bearing on the bottom of the bread pan is not broken or frozen. (Take pan out and see if you can turn the paddle freely by hand). Or finally, the belt may be loose and slipping, especially when it takes more power to knead the dough the second time. Good luck...Hank

First time use. set machine to dough and pressed

Hi, Keep the bread pan out of the machine and start a kneading cycle. Look through the lid window and see if the motor shaft is turning. If no...then the belt fell off. If the motor spins, check to make sure the paddle spins freely. Keep pan out and turn paddle by hand. If no then the bearing is frozen. If that's ok..make sure you inserted the pan correctly into machine. If everything checks out then it's a faulty machine. Before you do anything send it out for warranty service. Usually it's warranted for a year. Hank

I need a part

Bread Machine Parts Finder locates and sells used bread machine parts. We also sell other hard to find vintage kitchen items and spare parts. We are here to provide those hard to find items. Bread Machine Parts Finder searches for discontinued bread machines weekly.
Let us know what you need. Don't be fooled by blogs which state that pans & paddles are the only parts available and are priced so high that you should by a new machine, because of a low $50 or less price tag. New machines just are not built like those older machines that were built to last. New machines are built to ware-out quickly. I'm sure you know why. Most older machines were built to last & are easy to work on. I have hundreds of bread machine parts in my eBay Store & they're all less than $50. We carry all internal & external parts. We carry lids, lid hinges, control panels, rubber feet, pans, paddles, gaskets, belts, coupler-drives, pc-brains, inner-pans, heating elements, sensors, electric motors, timing gears, pulleys, screws and more.
