Question about Olympus FE-230 Digital Camera
I dropped my camera when it was on a few months ago, and the lens side that it fell first got stuck half way inside and the other half is out. Everytime i try to turn it on,a red light flashes and the lenses try to go in, but it won't bcause it's jammed. I thought that maybe i could push it in, but 'm afraid that it'll break or something. Hellpp!!!!
I got my camera fixed a day after posting the same problem. I called the manufacturer (my warranty is 3 months over the 1 year coverage) and a couple repairman , the repair charge will cost between $50 - $90...I said I'd be better off buying a new one. With that thinking, I figure it won't hurt it for me to push the lens back as hard but careful as I could, while twisting/wiggling the lens at the same time...Praise the Lord! It worked . It's operating as good as before.

Turn on camera, makes grinding-type noise, then lens goes in and out
several times...try to put your camera in a table lcd side down and
turn it on...while lightly tapping on the sides of the lens. also try
