How big is the file?

An online file host is a good way to do it. Then you download the file at school.

    You will need a converter.

What is the original video format? Are you on a Windows or Mac machine?

There are a lot of good Windows applications here - They can also be very complicated.

Contact me at tn.peterson@yahoo.com if you need further assistance. I do have the software to convert to any format. I will be glad to help out today.

I trying to create a video but it's telling me my project is too long. I have trimmed it down to 43 minutes and it is still telling me it's to long. Can you help me?

You have not said what camera you're using or what program is telling you that the project is "too long". Is this happening as you prepare to copy the video to a CD, DVD or other memory card? If so, then the media is too small for such a large file. a 43 minute video would be a very large file!

How do I upload videos?

Hi Elisa, I was having the same problem with my MAC. I have a G5 tower. After much searching, here's what I found:
If you open up Image Capture and have this open when your camera is connected. You will be able to download everything, including AVI files. Once you've downloaded the file, open up iMovie. Import the file into iMovie. Do what you need to do and then you can export it as a Quicktime movie.
Phew!

Emailing Video taken on a FinePix A800

Hi!

It's possible that the video file you are sending is too large. A few seconds of video from your camera will already be in a few megabytes (assuming that the camera is set to high resolution). How large is the file?

For smaller file size of video from your camera, you can lower the frame size. Here's how you do it:

If you are planning to send the file via email - select a lower quality.

I hope that helps.

Have a nice day!

Unfortunately, while this is an excellent camera and can do many things...

Cropping the images before transporting them to your computer is not something that this camera can do. You'll have to transfer the images to your computer and use your choice of software to crop and trim the images.

Sorry. :P
