Question about Averatec Computers & Internet
Figured it out after a while. Unlike most labtops, the panel takes up most of the bottom of the computer. And the screws required to remove the panel are unmarked. I took off more than I neede to. In order to get the panel off, I had to slide this entire panel towards the back of the computer, and carefully get one tab on the non-DVD bay side to slip out. After that, it's the usual stuff.
Thank you all for your help.

There is usually a small panal in the middle of the laptop on the bottom. It may have a symbol to identify it. Take of this panal and you should see either one or two memory modules. If you see two, take them out and replace them in the same way. If you only see one, the other is under the one you see. Take out the first, then take out the second. There may be a panal between them that you have to remove. Remove the bottom module and replace with a new one. If applicable, replace panal. Insert second memory module. Replace the cover panl that you took off first and fire it up. If everything is done correctly and is compatible, it should work fine. If it doesn't work, there are possibly compatibility issues or something was not installed correctly.

There should be a panel underneath the laptop that unscrews, you have to remove these to locate the RAM, it should be self-explanatry from there on
