Question about Dell Inspiron 1501 Notebook
I am at present upgrading the ram in an advent 7108 laptop and there is a USB port inside the laptop at the rear of the 4 USB's on the outside, i have tried to locate a service manual for it but no luck, there is also 2 locating screw holes to fix some kind of pc board ,i think, directly infront of the USB.
ANY IDEA'S Thanks, mike
It will be a port for a "peripheral" or add-on card which will connect to the motherboard, this could be anything, if i were you i would just proceed with the RAM upgrade and leave this alone until you find out what it is for.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
