Question about Toshiba CZ32V51 32" TV
I have a Toshiba CZ32V51. Up until the last few weeks it has been great. I've moved it several times and never a problem. Recently the remote stopped working. I tried two universal as well as they don't work with the TV. I'm guessing whatever on the inside that accepts input from the remote died. Any idea's on fixing this?
Here's a tip to test all remotes
point it at your digital camera/webcam
although the human eye cannot see infared, your camera lense can
watch the monitor to check if its flashing.
also - if you have moved the set, perhaps something inside - such as a wire loom - has fallen in front of the infa red reciever? or it may just need the window cleaning

Hello, you need to make sure what is broken, the remote control or the TV. To check the integrity of the remote control, you need to broadcast from the remote control while he aimed at the video camera. If you see a flicker of light through the camera it shows the integrity of the remote control. In this case the infrared receptor need to be replaced, he is placed near the stand by light.in a rare case the problem is at the 5v voltage that goes to the receptor. more rare is the possibility that something is wrong at the microprocessor circuit. . If the remote control out of order, can be opened carefully by a thin screwdriver, usually the causes to the error are loose components or contacts that are supposed to weld back into the board.
i hope it was helpful!! Let me know if you need further guidance
