Hi, I have a new problem: I cannot playback my recordings anymore. I have tried some older tapes and tried record-replay with a new one. In all cases the tape seems to be empty. (black screen) If I turn to Cam mode I get a picture on both screens. Theoretically this problem might be caused by me, putting TV cable into remote/mic plug, which is right beside the correct one. I really hope that this can be fixed somehow. Thanks for your help! Wolfram

try to clean the video head using a blank new tape and fast forward it 5 times if needed...dont use a video cassette cleaner it will ruin your video head...

Clean the heads - search the Net for 'wet' versus 'dry' tapes.

hi, if you have stuck the head cleaner in and this has not removed the black lines then the head might either need a thorough clean or may be damaged.

I don't have specific editing software, but I recently bought windows Vista 32bit. I have a Panasonic NVGS15 video cam. When I try to connect the DV cam to the computer via a USB, it keeps telling me the drivers are not valid for this OS. Which then means when I go into movie maker, it doesn't recognise the camera as connected. The Panasonic website does not have any new drivers.Where do I get the drivers to down load the same
You are probably more of a person into the actually editing of cameras than the technical know how for this type of problem, but I thought I would give it a try.
