The button maybe stuck, if you mean the remote controller, try removing the batterys and see if it stops, if it doesn't stop you possibly have a stuck button on the television or possibly a fault which is doing this.

The front controls are called Tac Switches. They have a tendency of becoming corroded and sending erroneous commands to the micro. You can disconnect the lead coming from the control panel to the chassis and see if it quits. If it does, that answers your question. If you decide to replace them all, try Encompassparts.com
