In most cases it's not a bad heating element there are a few checks you need to make before buying a new heating element, you can follow this guide to make the repairs:

Find the gas solenoid and tap it with a hammer while the dryer is running, if the heat starts then the solenoid should be replaced.
It is usually behind an access panel along the bottom of the unit.

What is the model number?
Exactly which parts did you check?
Also, check the breakers. The breakers are 220 and one of them may have thrown not allowing it to heat but the dryer will run.
