Question about Kodak EasyShare CX7530 Digital Camera
My kodak easey share cx7530 has stopped working, when you switch on the screen lights up with the sected program then a white screen comes on displaying error message camers error # E45 see users guide which i dont have, nothing else will work, any suggestions. I have read your remady for E 14 which sounds simular. The camare has not been dropped that i know of, and looks slightly different to the photos you used in the repair to E 14 problem
If it is under warranty i advice you give it for service as this is a pretty complicated procedure to get it fixed.
This error is caused due to the failure of lens alignment system.Try following the procedure below..
it may be the lens contacts or grit in the gears
open it up on the side of the lens you will see a row of thin gold coloured contacts that report the lens position back to the cpu sometimes these get dirty or bent.on the side of the lens is a motor, look where the gear meets the lens and use a pin to flip out any grit that is stuck in the teeth.
Its very unlikely the lens is "out of alignment" this just cant happen unless its been dropped or bashed, in which case it may be broken.
Also i have heard some people bashing the camera a couple of times to get it working..
hold the camera and bash the edge next to the lens against the palm of you hand as hard as you can, one I did have to get a little more medieval on and bashed aginst a bit of carpet on the bench.. but it worked... might be worth a go if the next step is the bin...

I'm having a similar issue, but this one is just showing a white screen with no messages. It will take shots great but then I have to go to the computer to see what's been taken (no big deal since there was a long time that we weren't able to preview before having film developed). I checked the users guide to see what it said the solution to your problem was and it says to turn it off and back on (which I assume logically that you have) and then it says to contact Customer Support. http://www.kodak.com/go/cx7530support I was unable to get into the website today, thus googled to try to find a solution and found this one. Hope it leads to help for you if you haven't found it already.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
