Question about JVC AV-32D305 32" TV
My tv was dropped while moving it and the color is messed up when it is supposed to blue there are patches of green and red or other colors depending on what the background of the show is. How can i fix this problem?
Unfortunately, this can't be fixed without replacing the picture tube. The drop caused a piece called the shadow mask inside the tube to warp or break loose. When that happens, the red, green and blue beams in the tube don't hit the right places on the screen. There isn't any way to repair this kind of damage.
If you had professional movers doing the job, their insurance should cover some or all of the cost of repairing the TV (replacing the tube, that is) or replacing the set. I wish I could give you better news.
