You may have disconnected or broken some cables that plug your screen into your computer, because if a virus was to do its work it would be very quick and since you said you cleaned it you may have accidentally done something to the cables. Can you tell me your laptop brand and model and also how easy it was to disassemble and reassemble the laptop and i will be able to help further on what to do

There is a boot problem, maybe. I think you have accidentally disconnected the screen or the RAM module cables. Be sure of what you're doing before opening up a laptop.

Search online for the process of fixing this by reconnecting the cables. Or maybe, you have to get a doctor if you can't do it yourself.

When i pull the trigger, motor buzzez and sounds like its trying to go,...but its like its jammed up,...took the blade off and cleaned out,...still doing it,..please help

unplug the tool and try and rotate the spindle/blade by hand by using a glove on the blade. Does it move freely or is it tight? Then did you recently remove the blade and is the inner flange on? If it doesn't move freely I would remove the back motor housing cover to check the bearing condition and look for any obvious visible problems like discoloration of the field/armature. please let me know if you need more assistance before voting. Thank you

I'm using windows xp home edition i got the virus

You had "Floppy disk seek failure" per your comment. Therefore this is not a problem with your hardisk. Your BIOS was configured boot up from Floppy that was why when you booted up it was looking for info from the Floppy, so if it could not find, it was sure to report to you. Just pop something out of your Floppy then you should be OK. Cheer.

Sony kp-61hs10 tv, has sound but picture goes black after 3 min.

I just had the same problem. If your lucky it might be a free 5 minute fix. The five light flashes mean impropper current. I took the front grill off, then behind that is another black cover, I took that off and noticed the circuit boards COVERED in dust. I then took an air can duster and blew off all the dust... works like new. No more flashes and in an out picture. The collection of dust was interfereing with the electrical current.

Picture wnt out suddenly without any symptoms

My picture would go out after several minutes but I still had sound. I took the rear cover off and blew all the dust off with compresed air.I did this for a few times over several days nothing happened.I also took off the rear circuit board that attaches to the tube with a round pin socket and blew that with compressed air and put it back on. The TV has now worked for two days without the picture going out. It worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pltv-32c black horizontal curved line like sagging seal on top of screen

My Protron 32' has a droopy dust seal at the top of the screen that is getting lower. I took it apart until I got to the screen assembly and decided to look for a professional answer.

Desktop will not load up

The computer should be fine, make sure there is no dust covering the fan or inside the computer. If not you can use the recovery disc that came with the computer, or a Windows XP cd to fix your installation, if that is the problem.

Purple blotches

Ok, so I'm about to flip a lid with my TV. I am showing purple quater sized blotches all over my screen. I bought it for a discounted price because of this issue, in hopes i could fix it. I took the back panel off the TV. ( about a 6in * 6 in plate) removed the light bulb and cleaned the bulb and lens, where the light bulb faced. I used a dust cleaner and special cloth. NOTHING! I took the entire front screen off cleaned it and then cleaned the mirror and second lens.... NOTHING! Then i heard that dusk sometimes gathers behind the lens and that should be cleaned. Try this, Its 4 screws, just be careful and remember the way you took it out, because it has to be replaced the same way.

Black horizontal lines appear after tv is on for 30 minutes

Kellia,

I had the same problem with our VS-55705 Mitsubishi. It seemed to me that this was a problem of heat.

I unplugged the TV and then took the cover off of the back of the it. I then used canned air to blow off the collection of dust from the components. Then I vacuumed as close to everything as I could without touching any of the components. I then used glass cleaner to clean up the surface of the three bulbs.

I plugged in the TV and it has worked perfect ever since. I haven't put the rear cover back on it yet. That could have been all that I needed to do to fix it. I'm too busy enjoying a nice picture to try putting it back on. Cleaning the bulbs really helped the quality of the picture.

Good Luck!

Printing Excess Pages

I would reset it by turning it off, unplugging all cables, cords and usb, replug, turn on and try printing now. Paper feed issues are not usually cartridge or ink related so cleaning printheads will not help this issue, but is good maintenance anyway. Most ink issues result because people do not do maintenace regualrly. We would not drive our cars for 3 years wihtout services so why do it to our poor printers? Ok, did printer print properly now, sometimes a reset is all they need. Post back if not fixed.
