Question about HP Compaq Business NX9110 Notebook
I have a HP Compaq nx9110 with windows xp on it, a while ago it just stopped working, power button indicated it was on, but the screen was blank.
I re installed Windows, and now when you turn it on, the windows logo comes up (with a quick 'press esc' to change boot order and press F10....) in the bottom left hand corner.
If I press F10, it then says that I need to back up my system cause I might loose hard drive info. If I then select boot up from hard drive and enter, it boots up without any problems.
I've taken it to a repair shop, but they said I need to reinstall windows, which I did, and still the same problem, now they say I need to download the drivers for my computer and install those... is this true, and which should I be downloading? I've gone onto the website: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=395749&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=395747&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=228
and don't know which one to download.
Hi there , have had the same type of display problems with the same model , goes into sleep mode or something similar in the end i downloaded a bois update from hp & installed it , seems
to have helped the problem settle down .
