When you turn on the oven does it appear to come on but never get higher then 100 degrees?? if so thats a real common and easy repair you can doo, youll need to remoe te lower oven floor to acess the bake ignitor, mounted to the side of the burner bar, 2 screws release it and 2 wires lead to it, new one simply wires back into place. unplug unit before repairing. 12400035 heres apart number that will include everything youll need to repair it. this repair assumes hta tyou have a glow bar style ignitor

your stove either "clicks" to start , like your top burners, or it uses a glow bar style ignitor, which is mounted on the side of the burner bar.

How long do i cook a 13 lb. turkey and at what oven temperature

What temperature do you cook a 13 pound turkey at?
After about 3 hours, insert an oven-safe thermometer deep into the thigh without touching the bone. Begin checking the turkey for doneness about 30 minutes before the recommended cook time. Your turkey is done when the temperature with a meat thermometer is 180° F in thigh and 165° F in middle or stuffing.

What temp for turkey done ?

Always use an oven bag is used to promote even cooking.

Microwave on MEDIUM (50% power) for 7 to 9 minutes per pound rotating dish every 15 minutes. Not recommended for turkey over 12 pounds
Use an instant-read thermometer after cooking. Turkey is done when thermometer reads 180 degrees to 185 degrees F for whole turkey or 170 degrees to 175 degrees F for turkey breast. Insert thermometer through **** in oven bag into inner thigh for whole turkey or into thickest part of breast for turkey breast.
For easy slicing, let stand 10 minutes after removing from microwave oven. To open, carefully cut or **** top of oven bag. NOTE Microwave directions were tested in 600 to 700-watt microwaves. Higher or lower wattage ovens may need adjustment in cooking times.

Do you have to put water in the first pan to cook a turkey?

Absolutely not. This is an oven, not a steam table, and water in the main roaster actually interferes with heat transfer. Water in the roaster cooking pan (the inside pan) actually steams the turkey, not a yummy solution.

Breaker flipped on my oven while cooking a turkey

If the oven was still slightly warm to the touch when you came home is probably fine. 45 minutes was not enough time to get the turkey hot down near the bone, so if it was cool I would discard it. But if you were lucky and it was still warm, go ahead.

No conventional oven...will turkey brown in roaster oven?

it looks like we're looking for a solution to the same problem. i've been searching and searching for an answer but have only found a few choices. one is to take the turkey out during the last half hour of cooking and place it in the oven to finish, thus browning the outer layer. another says to put some kind of a rub solution on. the solution is made up of sauces or juices that i really don't want in the flavoring of my bird. i wonder if the lid on the roaster was to be situated a little higher over the roaster so that the moisture could escape but heat could still be captured an reflect back toward the bird thus allowing the skin layer of the bird to "dry out" and bake. i haven't figured it all out. i'm still looking.
