Question about Brother Sewing Machines
My Brother (special runway edition) CE5000PRW keeps giving me the same problem. It starts to jump around and then gives me the code : E6. I believe this code (from before I lost my manual) has to do with the needle. So, I change the needle, rethread the machine, check the tension, open the bottom and clean any stray scraps of fuzz or dust (miniscule amounts because I do this so often). I have gone through about 5 needles in the past week, believing that mine are damaged in some way. Mostly I'm irritated because I never get to SEW! I'm always working on my machine, then it does the same thing again. Do I just have a defective machine?
I fought with this machine so much, then felt like a fool. It wasn't threaded properly, and I needed to re-set the tension.
Thanks for being there - if only to vent......
