Yes you can upgrade the Graphics Card on the Acer Z5801. There is an optional Graphics Card slot on the Motherboard and you will need an Acer Geforce GT 530 Graphics Card. The game or application that you are trying to run needs a better graphics card. You will need to upgrade your computer's graphics card to play or run the application.

Most Acer laptop graphics cards are not upgradeable. In fact most laptop graphics cards are not upgradeable in general. Usually if it does not say that you can upgrade then it can not be replaced or upgraded, however I would give Acer a call and see if they can do anything for you especially if it's under warranty.

Laptop do not use graphics card. The usually have the graphic chip integrated into their motherboards.

There are laptops designed for gaming. Alien Laptops or Asus Laptops are few of them.

So, upgrade to graphics card for laptops... hard.

You can increase performance by upgrading memory.

No, your video card cannot be upgraded, it's integrated in the motherboard. The only thing you can do is to assign it more memory.

Laptops are not very upgradeable you cannot add a graphics card to it becuse the graphics it has are built in and there is nowhere to plug one in like on a desktop.

You can actually replace and upgrade the video/graphics card if it is not integrated. But in this case, upon checking on your model, the video card on this system is NOT replaceable or upgradable since it is built-in or integrated with the system.

The documantaions say thar you have an APG-port, i cant see any problem why you couldent upgrade it...if u can find a card.

Generally, the graphics card on most portables is not a upgradable option. Researching on HP spare parts, that appears to be true on this system.
