Question about Toshiba Satellite M55-S135 Notebook
My daughter was recently given a used Toshiba Satellite A65-S126 laptop. It connected wirelessly to my Linksys 802.11 wireless router with no problem. Now it's not connecting. I don't think the laptop is loioking for the connection. how can I check it.
Thnaks I have owned a Toshiba Satellite A65-S1064 for about 5 years and over the past few months my wireless has been rendered useless.
-System restore did not resolve the issue
-Update driver (from Disk or internet) does nothing as there is not a newer compatible version for my pc. It just pulls the same driver that is installed.
-Re-Image of the hard drive to the Toshiba factory image does not resolve the issue.
-After installing all patches and XP SP2 (factory image had XP SP1) issue not resolved.
The closest I got is to enter the WEP key but then it was looking for certification. Still did not work and after attempting to reboot the hardware is now missing from Device Manager.
Any other ideas are appreciated!
