Push the "Menu" button on the front or side of your Dell
monitor. The button's icon resembles a miniature monitor. This will open
the main monitor setting menu. Push the button again to exit the main
menu and open the OSD menu.
Push the "Down Arrow" button on the monitor to scroll
through the OSD menu. Stop at "Factory Reset." Push the "Menu" button to
open the factory reset menu.
Push the "Down Arrow" button to select "Position Settings
Only" to reset the monitor's horizontal and vertical screen settings.
Press the "Menu" button to activate the setting changes.
Push the "Down Arrow" button to select "Color Settings Only"
to reset the monitor's red, blue and green color settings. Press the
"Menu" button to activate the setting changes.
Push the "Down Arrow" button to select "All Settings" to
restore the monitor to its original factory settings. Press the "Menu"

Push the "Up Arrow" button to select "Exit" to leave the

The problem is defective keys/switches of front key PCB.You need to replace this key PCB or Individual keys.

If it turn up to be same it somewhere defect from the main board of the lcd.
If if not the same turn up to be, you should reinstall the OS because the software is corrupted or your display card problem.
Just managed to open a FP17G+ monitor. My hope is that FP17G is similar and that this comes in handy.
There are 5 screws holding the casing together. Four are in the corners (black screws on my monitor). The 5th is right under the monitor stand (silver screw on my monitor.
To open the monitor, I had to:
1) Remove the monitor stand. To do so, you need to take out the two screws at the point where the base connects to the monitor (right above the pivot point) and slide out the monitor stand. THis should give you enough space to take out the 5th screw.
2) Unscrew the five remaining screws on the back of the monitor.
3) At the bottom edge of the monitor, there are two gaps between the front and back plastic panels of the monitor. You can place a wide screwdriver in this gap and gently pry apart the front and back of the monitor. Continue around the edge and the monitor will be open.

This is called burn-in mode. Used to test the monitor at the factory.
To fix this, use the buttons under the front of the monitor,
There are six buttons. Let's number them 1 to 6 from the left.
Press 6 to display menu (at the bottom in Red will say Burn in mode on)
Press 4 or 5 until Recall is highlighted
Press 6 to select
Press 4 or 5 until Recall All is highlighted
Press 6 to select
Press 4 or 5 until Yes is highlighted
Press 6 to select
Press 3 to exit
This will reset all paramaters and also turn-off burn-in mode
