My GM4019E does not have the color red anymore.

My PC does not have the color red. I purchased a new monitor and used the new analog cable when I installed it but had the same results. I have tried to adjust the settings on the PC and monitor still no red.

Please expert help me, my lenovo l192p have problem when i used analog port, it's look more red color, look dark red on dos. but it's good when i used digital port, dos look black.

Either the video cable or connector is loose or faulty. Try inserting the connrctors again and tighten the locking screws firmly and try a different video cable.
If none of this works then use the DVI ports on the monitor and video card.

The best link I can find is here. However, not every manufacturer uses the same color code except the 3 main analog color cables Red, Green and Blue. Hope this helps.

My viewsonic 19 inches lcd monitor screen displays full pink colour..it happens for sometime and becomes normal alternatively...

If you are using a VGA cable (analog, rather than a digital DVI) you can try replacing the cable. sometime some of the lines will break in the cable causing it to lose some color channels. Try tightening the cable connections on both the monitor (if it is removable) and the PC.

If that is not the cause, your backlight could be worn out. Cold cathode tubes run more pinkish red the older they get. Once they warm up they may return to a more normal color temperature.

E-Machine tech support are the same as Gateway Support. their answer to to reload always. sounds like a trouble video card or Monitor. try plugging in a different monitor and see if you have the same result. Make sure to check the pins on the video cable to verify none are bent. if you get the same results. you have a bad video in the computer. If it is, I believe that the video is actually integrated into the mother board, you can purchase a new video card and plug it in, that will automatically disable the onboard video.

Dell E153FP monitor won't display any video from system (Dell GX260). My e173FP monitor works fine. E153FP powers up, runs Self Test Feature Test fine, menus all seem OK. Tried Factory Reset... still no...

You probably have tried this, but make sure monitor is set to correct display... i.e., Analog or Digital

Also, try starting in safe mode and verify Monitor is able to handle the display settings resolution

My monitor is getting red color is there any solution

Hello !

Well, there is a problem with either your monitor, VGA cable or video card.

If you wiggle the VGA cable (the cable connected from your monitor to computer) and the color changes, the VGA cable is faulty.

Either connect your monitor to a different computer or connect a different monitor to your computer to see the results.

If your monitor works on another computer, your video card is faulty. If a different monitor works on your computer, then your monitor is faulty.

Hope this helps.

HP Pavilian external monitor color problem.

The easiest thing would be to check your cable for a bent or loose pin. Next put another external monitor on the laptop. The circuitry to provide video to the laptop screen and the external monitor are separate except that they share a video processor and video memory. There can be bad electronics involved.

HDTV as pc monitor-no digital signal

Try different Resolutions/DPI and Refressh rates the other possibility is settings on the monitor check the manual of the monitor for use with the pc as in resolution etc.
Newer monitors oftem change there own settings to best suit themselves or act differently if forced to use different settings.
The returning to 16bit seems odd though only other suggestion is trying updated video card drivers from the vendors site.

DVD won't play movies in color

RCA cable connectors (red, white, yellow) are usually for an analog setup. You could still use these for "component" setup, but know the difference with color stamps as follows:

Component color stamps are "blue, green, red" ( blue is marked Pb, green is marked Y, red is marked Pr)

RCA color stamps your using are "red, white, yellow"

Here are the proper hook up method for "Component" using your "RCA" connectors:

On both the TV and DVD component setup:

Plug the red RCA fitting in the component port marked "Pr (red)

Plug the white RCA fitting in the component port marked "Pb (blue)

Plug the yellow RCA fitting in the component port marked "Y (green)

Be sure this setup is the same for the TV's component input ports, and the DVD's component output ports.

i-Note:

For optimum picture quality you may want to purchase component cables as the gage is thicker giving better impedance match resulting in better picture and sound quality.
