I would re-install again fresh start. Or go in and remove one by one any devices that are plugged into a PCI-slot one by one powering on and off just the PCI cards remove one by one to see if this will stop. You are having a hardware issue. John

I need drivers for my pc dell optiplex GX270 especially sound and vga drivers

support.dell.com/.../downloads/devices.aspx?...GX270... - United States

support.dell.com/.../downloads/format.aspx?...GX270... - United States -

above are the direct links for all the drivers to download. Ensure you choose the correct operating system.

I don't know if there are any Win 7 or Vista drivers, i think there only maybe XP drivers? You will have to look to see... if there are ONLY XP drivers, you maybe able to get them to work, by using compatibility mode.

Need drivers which support pci Serial port for my Dell GX270. Where can I get these?

Depending on the hardware that you have, either Windows will recognize your device and install default drivers or you will utilize the installation software that came with your device.

Can you provide the brand and model for your Serial PCI card?

Ethernet controller pci simple contoller not find in my computer prop

first, try installing your device using the hardware installation program in your control panel. if that doesn't work , click on system in the control panel then click on hardware then click on the device manager. When the device list comes up on the screen, look to see if your controller is listed. if it is , highlight it and right click the mouse and select properties . if it says is not installed properly try reinstalling the drivers by clicking on the driver's selection or updating the drivers.

I recently formatted a second harddrive on my dimension L933r to download windows 7 all works fine but i can not change screen resolution and now i can not find the drive for the pci simple communications...

Hello.

Not certain if you still need this, but ...

To find and install the driver for the simple communications controller:

Go to Device Manager and click on the pci simple communications controller

Go to Properties and then Details. You will see a code like PCI/VEN_8086&DEV_27D8&SUBSYS...
The VEN code means vendor and the DEV code means device: in the example the vendor is 8086 and the device is 27D8.

Once you have the two codes, go to www.pcidatabse.com. Enter the two codes and you should get the name of your hardware.

From there, you can search for a driver download for your hardware

Hope this helps.

AFTER FORMATTING MY LAPTOP MY MULTIMEDIA CONTROLLER IS NOT WORKING

Install the driver

You may be prompted to provide the path of the driver. Windows may have the driver built-in. If you are asked for the driver and you do not have it, you can try to download the latest driver from the hardware vendor’s Web site.

In the device Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Update Driver to start the Hardware Update Wizard. Follow the instructions to install the driver.

if it doesn't work then let me informe.

Upon reinstallation of OS the device manager is showing that the PCI Simple Communication Controller has an exclamation point...I am stumped and cannot get this to correct...Please help...oh...windows XP...

This means that you do not have a driver for this device. The link below leads to download location on dells website for your machine. Start by installing the chipset driver. If that doesn't fix it, try the modem and network driver sections. without looking at your machine I can't be sure which driver you are missing. http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=&SystemID=PLX_PNT_CEL_GX270&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=
