you probably need a new power supply
Are you sure the ac internal plug is not loose so ac plug can't connect and make sure ac power plug is working
when did you add the memory before the problem started or after
If you know the make and model of the Ethernet, Audio, & video,
You could go to the various manufacturer's WEB site to download the drivers
OR
Try www.driverguide.com
Download the drivers from a friend's computer who has Internet access and copy them to your computer.
if same response, then dismantle your laptop then try reinserting video card (if it is a modular type component, your laptop is made by uniwill but i couldnt find the spec)
if same response, then you remove the CPU clean the socket with a contact cleaner and plug the cpu once again and then see if it boots up. Or if you have spare cpu where you can borrow and try it with your system
if non of these work, you are faced with a board problem and you need a qualified technician to help you with this already
I would start by using only 1 stick of RAM this sounds like symptom of a failing ram card or occasionally ram socket. The RAM is on the bottom of the laptop under the middle panel.
If you have 2 chips try each chip individually in each socket.
If it was turning itself off it was probably overheating - i see the fans gets clogged on this series all the time. You may want to blow it out with a can of compressed air.
I would bet your system has been overheating - that's why it kept shutting off. Now it may have overheated and killed your CPU or mainboard. These laptops require quite a bit of disassembly to get at the CPU. You will probably have to take it to a repair shop for further work.
