I am assuming you are using the internal vga adapter installed on the motherboard, and not an expansion card in the AGP slot. If you are using an AGP card, the motherboard VGA driver will do no good; you must load the driver for the add-in card.

There are a few things to check. First in the CMOS Setup, on the "PCI/Plug & Play Setup" tab, ensure that the Primary Graphics Adapter is set to PCI. That selects the onboard video adapter.

Then, reboot the system into SAFE MODE. Use the F8 key, to get to safe mode during the boot process.

You need to go to the Device Manager window. To do this, click START, right click on COMPUTER, click on PROPERTIES, then select DEVICE MANAGER. Expand the DISPLAY ADAPTER listing. On the listed adapter, right click and select PROPERTIES, Select the DRIVER tab. Look to see if there is a ROLLBACK DRIVER option. If so select this and let the system go back to the previous driver.

This is an old motherboard, made before WIN XP. Motherboard manufacturers will normally only supply new drivers for two iterations of windows. So there is not any chance of getting a driver from the manufacturer for anything much later than VISTA. However, WIN 7 has default drivers that will operate most legacy VGA adapters. The rollback you did (if you did) probably took you back to the driver that WIN 7 placed there when it was installed. ou may have to live with it.

Are you running 32 or 64 bit system ???

Make sure the video driver supports windows 7, 32 or 64 bit.

The video card can sure run fine on windows xp but not in windows 7 as it is a totaly different system.

The mainboard has a 1 x AGP 8X slot.

So now you maybe has to find a video card that supports windows 7

Try also to download a manual.

then windows 7 has no driver for the device download the latest device driver that support win 7 operating system, if there is no device driver for win 7 then you should have to wait until the manufacturer releases a driver for win 7

Go to Google and search for the "Microcom WF-3124" Driver, the US Robotics USR5416 PCI Wireless b/g Adapter is using the same TI chipset of "TNET 1130" as the Microcom WF-3124 Wireless b/g Adapter, thus it works for the USR5416 as well. here is the LINK for download the WF-3124 driver

Try the other way around,first install the card then boot the system up. When Windows finds the card and asks for the driver, insert your driver cd and choose install driver manually and point windows to your cd drive to force the use of the correct driver. It may be that windows is trying initially to install the generic driver.
