Question about Epson Stylus CX6000 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Sorry to say but after reading countless forums, visiting the epson web site, and talking to their tech support; they've screwed us. I've noticed that every epson CX series has countless ink cartridge misshaps, and none printing issues. First off I recommend you cut your losses now and don't buy anymore ink for it because it will not help, and I also recomend not ever buying Epson again. My CX6000 had brand new ink, the black never printed and after 2 nozzle checks my ink was very low or gone(so it says). I learned that the ink is not gone its a programming error with the chip on the side of the cartridge. Also I believe they have scammed us because phone tech support told me to take out and put back in the cartridges which "expends" the cartridge if you have seen that error and from Epson website itself says once you remove a cartridge it becomes expended or already use and the printer will reject using it. And their Epson repair stores charge 15$ just to look and see what the problem is then "fix" whatever it may be (probably something expensive). The thing is they F'd us and might as well get a new printer. best of luck to you.

I have all new ink and my cx 600 says I'm out of ink except the yellow. I called Epson and they recommended I either take it in to be repaired or purchase a new model and offered a "discount" passcode to their website of refurbished models. They offered free ink if i buy a new model. The problem is I already have 8 new containers of ink because my printer kept saying it was out! I have cleaned it I am going to take it apart and clean it again. It has very low miles and is about 3 yrs old.

I've had this problem a few times and all i did to fix it was just pull out the power cord from the printer without turning it off. I cant say it has happened a lot but a few times since i got it. Works every time for me.
